TNM Download v2

The TNM Download v2 client provides a streamlined approach for accessing and downloading a wide array of geospatial products from The National Map. Built on modern web technologies, this platform simplifies the process of discovering and acquiring essential geographic data for various applications. Users can effortlessly search for products using an intuitive map interface or by defining an Area of Interest through map extent, geometry, polygons, points, or precise coordinates. Advanced search options include filtering by keyword and date ranges, with the added flexibility to upload shapefiles or KML files for defining custom search areas.

Key datasets available through the client include US Topo maps (current and non-current, with various data extents like 7.5 x 7.5 minute), Historical Topographic Maps (offering diverse scales and extents, such as 1 x 1 degree or 7.5 x 7.5 minute), and National Boundary Datasets (available at national and state levels). These products are provided in commonly used geospatial file formats, including Geospatial PDF, GeoTIFF, Shapefile, FileGDB, and GeoPackage, ensuring compatibility with most GIS software. The platform also highlights recent data releases, such as DEM and DSM data for the 2025 California wildfires, making it a crucial resource for current and historical geospatial information.
