geospatialcatalog.com is a curated collection of data, tooling, companies and resources across the world in a single searchable database. We focus heavily on organizing data logically and intuitively so you spend less time searching.
There are plenty of catalogs across the internet which have attempted this task. These efforts are very well founded as finding resources is often time-consuming and difficult, but they have a few key issues:
Our solution it to incorporate user feedback into the loop, ensuring that the catalog is up-to-date. Users can quickly flag problematic listings, which are manually reviewed. You can also add your favorite resources, data, or companies by providing a link. We then manually review them and add to the catalog. We also work hard to create meaningful simiarity metrics and visualize them in 3D, helping you to rapidy find new resources that may suite your needs. This catalog contains over 600 links along with 400+ tags, and 8 categories.
I'm an open-source software enthusiast with a passion for all things geospatial and remote sensing. I aim to bridge the gap between data availability and accessibility, which motivated me to build this catalog.
