NYS GIS Clearinghouse

The NYS GIS Clearinghouse acts as the central resource for geospatial information and activities across New York State. It provides a gateway to discover and access a wide array of GIS data, maps, and applications pertinent to the state. The platform supports both state agencies and the public in leveraging geospatial technology for various purposes.

Key functions include coordination initiatives through programs like the Geospatial Advisory Council and the Data Sharing Cooperative, fostering collaboration among GIS stakeholders. It also offers specific data programs, encompassing essential datasets such as Parcels, Streets & Addresses, Orthoimagery, Elevation, Civil Boundaries, and Hydrography. These programs ensure the availability of standardized and up-to-date geospatial information.
