MSDIS Open Data Site

The Missouri Spatial Data Information Service (MSDIS) is the state's central spatial data clearinghouse. It is funded by the State of Missouri Office of Geospatial Information and operates as a Research Support Center within the University of Missouri College of Arts & Sciences. MSDIS is responsible for maintaining and distributing a substantial collection of vector data, aerial photography, and LiDAR elevation data.

This platform supports a diverse range of users across Missouri, including federal and state agencies, local and regional governments, law enforcement, educators, researchers, students, private businesses, and the general public. It provides access to various data services and downloads, including imagery, vector data, and specialized archives.

Additionally, MSDIS partners with the State of Missouri Office of Geospatial Information to offer basic ArcGIS Pro training courses for state employees, with corresponding data packets available for download. The site also highlights partnerships with other Missouri state agencies, such as the Missouri Department of Agriculture.
