Indiana Spatial Data Portal

The Indiana Spatial Data Portal (ISDP) serves as a crucial resource for accessing Indiana geospatial data. Supported by Indiana University’s high-performance networks and computing infrastructure, the portal archives and provides web access to a diverse collection of imagery. It emphasizes scholarly data sharing and public accessibility for all datasets.

The data largely originates from state and local government imagery initiatives. This includes comprehensive statewide imaging projects managed by the Indiana Geographic Information Office (IGIO) since 2005. These initiatives have been instrumental in generating extensive datasets, such as orthophotos and lidar imagery, covering the entire state of Indiana.

All datasets available through the ISDP are provided to the public for download and come with no use restrictions. This commitment to open access ensures that researchers, government entities, and the general public can readily utilize high-quality geospatial information for various applications and analyses.
