GISOost

GISOost provides a comprehensive platform for accessing digital maps and geospatial data specific to Oost-Vlaanderen. Users can explore a wide range of themes through interactive geolokets, including Environment, Mobility, and Leefmilieu. Featured geolokets cover topics like the Provincial Spatial Structure Plan, Heritage, Agricultural Compass, Neighborhood Road Atlas, Bicycle Route Maps, and Watercourses, with a dedicated mobile version for watercourses.

Beyond interactive viewing, GISOost facilitates the integration of its geospatial information into external GIS applications. This is achieved through various data services such as WMS and WFS. Available datasets for direct integration include Geodata (provincial properties, watercourses, and norm map), the Atlas Buurtwegen, and Historical Atlases pertaining to watercourses and land consolidation.

These services empower users to utilize detailed regional data for planning, analysis, and research within their own geospatial environments, supporting various professional and public sector applications.
