EOxCloudless delivers exploitation-ready, multispectral satellite imagery by meticulously processing Sentinel-2 mission data from the ESA Copernicus programme. This results in an absolutely cloud-free and high-resolution globe projection, ideal for detailed viewing and analysis.
The data is available in various formats and resolutions, including global prerendered Sentinel-2 cloudless products down to 10m/pixel. Users can obtain these as map caches or create their own layers using mapping-optimized source mosaics. Products are offered as single-file GeoPackages and MapCache SQLite files, with options for WGS84 lat/lon or Web Mercator projections, and also as GeoTIFFs. These datasets incorporate custom bathymetry renders to fill ocean areas, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Annual datasets are available for purchase, with options ranging from 2016 to 2024. For non-commercial use, free WMS/WMTS endpoints are provided via s2maps.eu, while commercial endpoints require direct contact with sales. The imagery is color-corrected and sharpened, providing a high-quality visual experience, as exemplified by its use in interactive exhibits like The Globe at Fraport Visitor Center.
