EarthEnv-DEM90 provides a nearly-global, void-free, 90m digital elevation model derived from fused ASTER and SRTM data. It offers continuous coverage for approximately 91% of the globe, supporting assessments of biodiversity, ecosystems, and climate.
The EarthEnv-DEM90 dataset offers a nearly-global, void-free, multi-scale smoothed, 90m digital elevation model (DEM).
This data is distributed in EHdr format, unprojected and referenced to the WGS84 geodetic datum. It is derived from CGIAR-CSI SRTM v4.1 and ASTER GDEM v2 products, processed and merged to provide continuous coverage of approximately 91% of the globe. The processing and merging methodology are detailed in Robinson et al. (2014).
EarthEnv Digital Elevation Model Version 1, created by Natalie Robinson and the NCEAS Environment and Organisms (ENO) Working Group, is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Users are required to cite Robinson et al. (2014) when utilizing this dataset.
