AmericaView serves as a national consortium focused on Earth observation education, outreach, and research. The organization actively participates in and supports significant geospatial events, such as Geo Week, where it promotes educational initiatives in Earth observation. AmericaView also plays a crucial role in fostering spatial literacy by collaborating with institutions and federal agencies like the National Science Foundation (NSF) to host interactive workshops for students and professionals across multiple U.S. states.

Further demonstrating its commitment to advancing remote sensing capabilities, AmericaView has been awarded a competitive five-year agreement by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) National Land Imaging (NLI) Program. This prestigious grant, known as the National Land Remote Sensing Education, Outreach and Research Activity (NLRSEORA), highlights the sustained partnership between AmericaView and the USGS in driving progress within the field of land remote sensing.
